Everybody sold. We’re here still. We’re building.
Read the scoreboard.
For a decade, the independent phone and hosting companies got bought up one by one. The founders took the check. The customers got migrated. The names came off the doors.
Here is what the exits paid.
The ledger
- Vitelity. A wholesale voice carrier founded in Denver in 2003. Acquired by Onvoy in June 2014.
- Inteliquent. GTCR bought it and folded Onvoy, Vitelity inside it, into the stack. In 2021, Sinch bought Inteliquent for $1.14 billion. The Vitelity name was retired for good.
- 2600Hz. Another independent voice company from the same era. Bought by Ooma in October 2023 for about $33 million in cash, on roughly $7 million a year in revenue.
That is the pattern in this business. Build something real, and a bigger company writes a check for it. Everybody sells.
Almost everybody.
We’re here still
Net30 is founder-owned, and it is being built with the owner’s own money. Net30 Brands is the parent of Net30 Hosting, Net30 VoIP, and our books and software lines. We run hosting on our own panel and our own servers. We built our phone service on systems we own outright, not rented from anybody.
Matthew Murphy has had this idea for more than a decade. He was building phone service this way when the exits started. The exits came and went. He is still here, still building.
So no, this is not a raise
Let’s be plain, because plain is the point.
We are not raising money. We are not selling pieces of this company. Everybody’s hands stay off the pot. Ownership stays exactly where it is: with the man building it.
So why does this page exist? Because interest is information. If you watched the consolidation happen and you see what we see, we want to know who you are and what you would bring if a door ever opened around the edges of what we’re building. That is all this form measures. It buys nothing, reserves nothing, and promises nothing. It tells us who sees it.
What we are building
- Server fleet and panel development for the hosting business
- The Net30 VoIP build-out ahead of the January 1, 2027 launch
- Phone number inventory, trunk capacity, and the customer app
- The books and software lines that run under the same roof
How people take part, if a door ever opens
- Partnerships with operators who bring something real to the table
- Territory-style arrangements built around a market or a trade
- The accountant-firm network: firms that join as partners and customers
The build happens either way, on the owner’s money. If you want your name on the list for the day an opportunity fits, tell us who you are and roughly what you could bring to it.
